The building is divided into two staircases connected by a semi-public stairwell called the "scala publica," which houses a cinema, library, and gallery. Wohnen im Grünen Markt emphasizes community living and sustainability. It offers extensive shared facilities, including a community kitchen, laundry room, sauna, yoga room, and rooftop terraces with urban gardening infrastructure. The project follows sociocratic principles, enabling democratic participation among residents.
