EUROCONSTRUCT

EUROCONSTRUCT is an independent network specializing in construction market analysis and forecasting across Europe. Founded in 1974 by six research institutes from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, its original purpose was to aggregate localized expertise in construction sector trends and provide systematic forecasts. Since its founding, the network has expanded and now involves nineteen member institutes covering almost all of Western Europe as well as select Central and Eastern European countries. The organization’s core activity is the generation of bi-annual, standardized, medium-term construction forecasts through a coordinated effort among its member institutes. These forecasts are updated twice a year and provide insights into sectoral development, challenges, and macroeconomic impacts specific to the European construction industry. Clients include companies, industry associations, ministries, and agencies that depend on timely and accurate market intelligence. EUROCONSTRUCT’s flagship events are its twice-yearly conferences, held in different European cities and attended by professionals from across the sector. For example, the 99th conference took place in Warsaw in June 2025, focusing on themes such as the post-pandemic recovery, impacts of regulatory changes, the situation in Ukraine, and the implications of the EU's Recovery and Resilience Facility. Previous conferences have addressed issues like sustainable housing, labor shortages, and the impacts of legislative changes on public procurement and construction material standards. EUROCONSTRUCT's reports and briefings, prepared by national experts, offer detailed national and regional analyses, making it a reference point for construction market forecasting throughout Europe.
