EUROCONSTRUCT is an independent construction market forecasting network established in 1974. Originally founded by specialized research organizations from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom as a study group for construction analysis and forecasting, it has since expanded to include 19 European countries. The network's primary mission is to provide timely, accurate, and comparable forecasts on European construction markets. Its strength lies in the local expertise of its members, all of whom are consulting and non-profit research institutes specializing in construction. EUROCONSTRUCT publishes detailed bi-annual forecasts covering residential construction, non-residential construction, and civil engineering sectors. The organization hosts conferences twice a year in different European cities, typically around June and December. These events focus on cyclical development of construction activity and other topics relevant to the construction sector. The most recent conferences were held in Dublin in December 2023 and Milan in December 2024, with the 97th conference scheduled for Stockholm in June 2024. EUROCONSTRUCT produces two main publications: the Country Report and the Summary Report, containing forecasts for the construction industry across its member countries. These reports are designed to help decision-makers in the construction sector and related markets plan their business strategies more effectively. The network also offers bespoke research services for specific construction-related inquiries.
