Your2040, also styled as [Y]our 2040, is a community-driven think-tank, network, and movement dedicated to creating a positive, pragmatic, and regenerative future. Co-founded by Chris Luebkeman, leader of the Strategic Foresight Hub at ETH Zurich, and Jonelle Simunich, a fellow at the Edinburgh Futures Institute, the organization focuses on envisioning what the world could look like in 2040. The initiative hosts annual gatherings in La Punt Chamues-ch, a Swiss Alpine village, bringing together 100 handpicked individuals from diverse backgrounds, ages, professions, and geographies. These gatherings aim to develop visions for the future and outline actions needed to make these visions reality. The community spans over 20 countries and is expanding into Scotland, Mexico, and Oman. Your2040 is working to create a toolkit that can help communities worldwide engage in foresight-to-action processes for better future planning. Their ambitious goal is to engage 25 million people across more than 50 countries by 2040.
