11th European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO)

The 11th European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO) took place in Valencia, Spain, as part of the city's celebrations as the European Green Capital. This event was co-organized by ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability and the European Environment Agency, bringing together city representatives, experts, and stakeholders. EURESFO focused on four key thematic streams: multilevel governance and just transition, water resilience and the Blue Economy, transformation towards resilient cities, and building resilience in fragile settings. The forum facilitated discussions on strategies, initiatives, and actions related to climate change adaptation, disaster management, and urban resilience. Through various sessions, workshops, and plenaries, the forum aimed to foster a comprehensive approach to urban resilience and sustainable development, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among local and regional institutions in tackling the challenges posed by climate change.
