The 11th European Urban Resilience Forum (EURESFO) took place from June 26 to 28, 2024, in Valencia, Spain, as part of the Valencia Cities Climate Week and the city's celebrations as the European Green Capital for 2024. The event was co-organized by ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability and the European Environment Agency (EEA). EURESFO 2024 focused on four thematic streams: 1. **Multilevel governance, cooperation, and the imperative of a just transition**. 2. **Water resilience and the promotion of the Blue Economy within and beyond the Mediterranean region**. 3. **Enabling the transformation towards resilient, adaptive, and climate-neutral cities and regions**. 4. **Building resilience in fragile settings and bridging the gap between Humanitarian Response to Post-conflict Resilience and Recovery**. The forum brought together city representatives, experts, and stakeholders from local and regional institutions to discuss strategies, initiatives, and actions related to climate change adaptation, disaster management, and urban resilience. It featured various sessions, workshops, and plenaries, including discussions on multi-level governance, water resilience, and post-conflict recovery, aiming to foster a comprehensive approach to urban resilience and sustainable development.
