A City Made By People is an international network and creative studio dedicated to making cities more human by fostering connections among citizens through creativity, storytelling, and community experiences. Founded in Amsterdam in 2012 by Robin Cox, the initiative began as a meet-a-local service for travelers seeking genuine insights into city life. Over time, it evolved into a platform that publishes stories, organizes events, and leads creative projects aimed at highlighting the human side of urban living. The network brings together city enthusiasts and changemakers, offering a range of services such as conceptual research, photography, filmmaking, interviews, and the organization of community events. A City Made By People has launched numerous projects across European cities, including speaker events, city explorations, podcasts, group programs, and the publication of print journals.
