ChangemakerXchange, based in Berlin, Germany, is a platform focused on building a global community of young social innovators. Founded by Matthias Scheffelmeier, the organization connects nearly 1,500 changemakers from 140 countries, emphasizing both social and environmental impact. Since its establishment, ChangemakerXchange has facilitated over 250 international collaborations. The core activities of the organization center around three areas. First, through its **community programs**, it runs flagship summits that bring together young innovators, providing them with opportunities for peer learning and collaboration. These summits mark the entry point into ongoing community engagement and capacity building. Second, their **facilitation arm** offers tailored training and services to organizations worldwide, aiming to strengthen how teams work together and improve their collective impact. Finally, through **The Possibilists**, ChangemakerXchange conducts research and supports collective action projects to address the challenges young changemakers face, publishing scientific reports such as the Possibilists Global Report 2025. A recent example of their work is the ChangemakerXchange.AI program, targeting young changemakers across Europe and Latin America and exploring responsible applications of artificial intelligence.
