Eurhonet, also known as the European Housing Network, is a non-profit organization established in 2005 comprising 38 public and social housing providers across Europe. The network spans seven countries including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The organization's mission centers on promoting learning and development to better serve tenants, neighborhoods, and society. Eurhonet facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration among its members to improve professional performance and develop innovative solutions for common housing challenges. The network is responsible for approximately 1 million homes and serves around 2 million tenants. Eurhonet's activities focus on four key areas through dedicated Topic Groups: Sustainable Construction, Social Integration, Ageing, and Digital Communication & Technology. The network organizes workshops, skills development programs, and supports members' participation in EU projects. They also run a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative. Members join Eurhonet to gain insights from different working realities across Europe, learn effective procedures to address daily challenges, and connect with like-minded organizations. The collaborative approach allows housing providers to develop best practices together rather than working in isolation, ultimately benefiting residents in social and public housing across Europe.
