Europan is a network fostering sustainable urban spaces through a biennial competition, connecting cities, architects, and urban planners.
Europan is a network of European cities and architectural organizations that aims to promote innovative urban planning and architecture. The network has its online presence at [www.europan.de](http://www.europan.de). Europan's primary goal is to foster the development of sustainable, inclusive, and resilient urban spaces through a biennial competition that brings together cities, architects, and urban planners to share ideas and best practices. The current theme of the competition, E18, is "Re-sourcing - A New Perspective on the Existing," which focuses on revitalizing neglected, monofunctional, or stigmatized urban areas. The network organizes various events, including the Inter-Sessions Forum, which brings together stakeholders to discuss urban development and share experiences. Europan also publishes a catalog of winning projects, providing a platform for the dissemination of innovative urban design ideas.
