re-MODULEES 

The re-MODULEES project is a Horizon 2020 initiative focused on enhancing the retrofit market for residential buildings across Europe. It aims to establish a comprehensive framework that promotes energy efficiency and clean energy solutions, facilitating deep renovations in the sector. A consortium of 16 diverse partners is involved, each contributing expertise in areas such as user-centered business models and overcoming legislative barriers. The project seeks to simplify the renovation process and create attractive, consumer-focused business models to address both demand and supply challenges. Key strategies include the establishment of digital and physical Renovation Hubs and Local Advisory Boards. By leveraging insights from previous EU projects, re-MODULEES aims to support large-scale renovations, ultimately contributing to the EU's 2050 decarbonization goals.
