SUPERRR is an independent non-profit network and lab founded in 2019 by Elisa Lindinger and Julia Kloiber, dedicated to building more just and feminist digital futures across Europe. The organization focuses on ensuring that technological development benefits everyone equally and upholds fundamental rights, challenging entrenched power imbalances in the tech sector. With its origins in a diverse community of over 200 FINTA* individuals—including those from the fields of art, science, technology, journalism, and activism—SUPERRR leverages feminist values such as equity, care, courage, creativity, and collaboration to guide its work. SUPERRR’s mission is realized through research, policy advocacy, and network building. The organization connects different stakeholders—from civil society to policymakers—by acting as a bridge and a source of inspiration for more inclusive digital policies. Key programs include fellowship initiatives, like the Feminist Tech Fellowship, supporting open and inclusive digital projects that address bias and exclusion in technology. SUPERRR also publishes works, such as “Ding” magazine, collecting essays and visions for more equitable futures, and organizes workshops to cultivate political imagination and international collaboration. Actively working on both local and international levels, SUPERRR collaborates with civil society and decision-makers to foster new narratives and practical solutions, promoting social justice and diversity in the digital transformation. This pan-European network strives to empower people of all genders and cultural backgrounds to shape the digital future, making technology serve as a tool for real democracy and inclusion.
