Advancing feminist digital rights and equitable tech transformations.
SUPERRR is an independent non-profit organization founded in 2019 by Elisa Lindinger and Julia Kloiber. The group is based in Germany and emerged from a community of more than 200 FINTA* individuals (women, intersex, non-binary, trans, and agender people) who work in art, science, technology, journalism, and activism. The organization’s mission is to create more just digital futures by challenging power imbalances and ensuring that all people benefit equally from technological change, while upholding fundamental rights. SUPERRR operates by forging connections between technology, policy, and civil society. It acts as a resource for policymakers, offering new ideas and perspectives, and collaborates extensively with partners at local, national, and international levels. The organization’s core activities include researching technological developments, policy engagement, and supporting network-building among activist and professional communities. Key projects reflect these priorities. Past and current initiatives involve feminist technology networks, research into equitable digital public goods, and the development of policy recommendations on digital rights. SUPERRR stands out by emphasizing feminist values such as equity, care, courage, creativity, and collaboration in its work. Rather than focusing only on theoretical discussions, the group creates practical interventions and knowledge resources. This includes publishing research and hosting events that bridge activism, technical expertise, and policymaking. The organization is recognized within European civil society for its leadership in advancing feminist tech policy and its commitment to ensuring inclusive digital transformation.
