K9 Coliving is a unique self-organized residential community located in Stockholm, Sweden. Housed in a former hotel in the elegant Östermalm district, K9 offers a diverse living experience for approximately 50 residents from various backgrounds and nationalities. The community occupies 1200m² of space across four floors, featuring shared amenities such as five kitchens, a cinema, meditation/yoga room, co-working spaces, and multiple living areas. K9 provides different accommodation options, including double rooms, single rooms, bunk beds, and pods, catering to various preferences and privacy needs. K9 Coliving emphasizes community living, personal growth, and co-creation. Residents actively participate in the community's governance, which is loosely based on the Holacracy method, promoting shared decision-making and self-organization. The community values inclusion, participation, and self-expression, encouraging members to contribute to the house's operations and organize events. Established in November 2016, K9 has become a thriving intentional community that attracts individuals interested in conscious living and closer connections. The project aims to reduce private spaces while increasing shared areas to enhance well-being. K9 Coliving has received over 2,500 applications since its inception, indicating a growing interest in this alternative lifestyle.
