Q1 2024: Team assembling / Campaign building / Platform development

- Establishing an open digital collaboration channel (Discord / Slack)
- Approaching foundations, associations and HNIs that might be interested in financing our upcoming digital campaign & platform / map
- Building out the database of our Knowledge Databasethrough further desk research, webscraping & sourcing lists from meta-organisations (like national housing federations)

- Implementing abilities to enrich the map / database through crowdsourcing
- Creating an online presence that outlines EHC’s vision & approach in a compelling way
Q2 2024: Campaign roll-out / Identifying 3 launch cities
- Goals for a 2 month long campaign:
- Sourcing (further) interested individuals, local housing coops, companies, asset owners and potential impact investors across the EU
- Gathering data around the stakeholders’ motivation to participate in the EHC
- Identifying three cities where we have the best starting conditions for the first EHC projects, with suitable assets for a (re)development, potential local housing coops as partners, and citizens who are eager to support the mission and join the coop
- Reaching out to pre-identified stakeholders, inviting them to signal interest in EHC’s mission (which then shows up on the map)
- Boosting the campaign, using social media, approaching all identified multiplying networks, leveraging the raised interest in the future of Europe and the EU, in regards to the upcoming European election taking place June 6-9 of 2024
- Evaluating and Documenting campaign results, inviting stakeholders in the three starting cities to local kick-offs
Q3 2024: Kick-Offs in launch cities / EHC Framework Development
- Piloting the local co-creation processes in the 3 chosen launch cities with interested actors & asset owners
- Exploring a suitable structure to source capital from impact investors, also taking into account blockchain based tokenisation models
- Preparing the legal and governance structure for the EHC as an SCE
- Defining the most suitable country across the EU as a (first) legal base for the SCE
Q4 2024: Legal foundation of the EHC & Fundraising
- Founding the EHC as a legal European Cooperative (SCE) with 100+ founding members
- Fundraising kick-off for first envisioned developments in the starting cities
- Christmas campaign to gift a sustainable-housing-membership to others
🎯 (Ambitious) Goals for 2025

- The EHC has 1000 individual members and 50 companies as members across the EU
- We have rallied up 10+ Million € to co-finance the real estate development projects
- EHC’s digital platform (with our map and open knowledge database) is already seen as a value adding & inspiring resource amongst actors who are interested in more sustainable forms of housing & living
