Investire SGR is a Milan- and Rome-based real estate asset and investment management company established through a 2015 merger of three firms: Investire Immobiliare SGR, Polaris Real Estate SGR, and Beni Stabili Gestioni SGR. The company’s origins trace back to 2002 with Investire Immobiliare, part of the Banca Finnat Group. Headquartered in both cities, Investire SGR employs about 140 professionals and manages assets worth approximately €7 billion through over 60 funds, serving more than 250 institutional investors across 200 municipalities in Italy. The firm’s portfolio covers a range of sectors including office, residential, retail, logistics, healthcare, student housing, and hospitality. A significant focus is placed on long-term institutional investments, with a record of activity in urban and social regeneration, including the management of distressed assets and non-performing loans. Social housing is a notable area; for example, in 2023, a €34 million loan from the European Investment Bank helped finance the construction of more than 200 social housing units in central Milan via the Ca’ Granda Fund, managed by Investire SGR. Investire also pursues new property developments such as “The Shred,” an office project in Milan's Porta Nuova district that blends heritage architecture with the city’s modern skyline. The company operates under a structure with specialized fund management divisions, allowing for tailored approaches to each business area while maintaining strict governance and controls.
