LINA is a pan-European network that connects key cultural institutions with emerging practitioners and thinkers working at the intersection of architecture and related spatial disciplines. Its mission is to promote ambitious new talent and catalyze innovation in architectural practice, particularly with a focus on regenerative methods and the principles of de-growth. These objectives are closely aligned with the European Green Deal, seeking to guide architectural and urban development towards more sustainable and circular models. The network is composed of a diverse alliance of museums, universities, foundations, research networks, architectural festivals, and biennials from across Europe and the Mediterranean. These member organizations collaboratively organize a variety of events, including workshops, exhibitions, conferences, and public lectures that take place in different cities throughout the year. The LINA Architecture Programme, supported by the European Union's Creative Europe Programme, provides a platform for these activities and amplifies the voices of emerging professionals. At the heart of LINA's structure is a participatory model. The General Assembly, formed by representatives of member institutions, oversees the platform’s direction and selects promising projects and individuals, known as LINA fellows. These fellows gain opportunities to develop and present their work at international events, fostering cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange. LINA is coordinated by the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana, ensuring a strong academic and strategic foundation for its pan-European initiatives.
